Chicago International has the reputation for providing measurable student growth within a fiscally responsible model:

• The network operates on the principle that public school students should be educated on the public dollar
• Close to 95% of the $65 million budget is provided by local and federal public funds. In contrast, many other charter schools must generate 25% of their operating costs through fundraising.
• The Chicago International funding model has unique challenges, however, because the 82% per-pupil allotment from CPS (as compared to traditional Chicago public school student funding) must cover 100% of instruction costs
• Chicago International is, in fact, providing a better education at a lower cost

How will a donation to Chicago International help to improve urban education?

Many of our students come from under-resourced neighborhoods and nearly 85% are considered "low-income." Chicago International's rigorous education pushes them to close the achievement gap and lead successful lives.
