Uniforms
Here at Chicago International, students in all grades are required to wear uniforms except for those special occasions of designated out-of-uniform days. Every student is required to wear the regulation school uniform. Take pride in your appearance - uniforms are to be clean, well fitted, and presentable. At least this makes getting dressed in the morning an easy task! See below for the uniform requirements:
Preschool (CICS Basil Campus only):
- Colored polo shirt
- Solid colored pants
- Solid or plaid jumpers for girls
- Dress or gym shoes
- Knee socks or tights for girls
K—3rd Grade:
- Colored polo or button-down shirt
- Solid colored pants
- Solid or plaid jumpers for girls
- All-black dress shoes
- Knee socks or tights for girls
4th & 5th Grade:
- Colored polo or button-down shirt
- Solid colored pants
- Solid or plaid skirts for girls
- All-black dress shoes
- Knee socks or tights for girls
6th—8th Grade:
- Colored polo or button-down shirt with tie
- Solid colored pants
- Solid or plaid skirts for girls
- All-black dress shoes
- Knee socks or tights for girls
9th—12th Grade:
- Colored polo or button-down shirt with tie
- Solid colored pants
- Solid or plaid skirts for girls
- All-black dress shoes
- Knee socks or tights for girls
- Optional skirt for girls - The administration may take away the option of skirts for an individual, class, or entire campus population if students do not wear skirts of appropriate sizes or lengths
- Senior privilege - Administration may choose to allow 12thgrade boys option of no tie with appropriate shirt
