CICS Longwood Celebrates Grand Opening of Student-Led Barber & Beauty Room
CICS Longwood High School recently celebrated an exciting milestone with the grand reveal of its brand-new student-led Barber and Beauty Room. This state-of-the-art "clinic floor" was unveiled to students, staff, and community members who came together to witness the launch of what is sure to become a cornerstone of the school's Career and Technical Education (CTE) program. The energy in the room was undeniable as students proudly showcased the professional-grade space they will call their own.
The Barber and Beauty Room represents far more than a stylish new addition to the school — it is a direct investment in the futures of CICS Longwood students. This exciting space is part of our ongoing commitment to providing robust CTE pathways that equip students with the skills and credentials needed for postsecondary success.
By training in a real-world clinic environment, students are building the hands-on skills and professional confidence needed to pursue licensure as barbers and cosmetologists upon graduation. This program opens doors to meaningful, sustainable careers and empowers students to enter the workforce ready to thrive from day one.
