Morgan Marler serves at the Innovation Associate for CICS. In her role she works closely with network and school leaders to provide resources and thought partnership to address areas of opportunity. One way she provides support is via Inspiration Visits, intentionally planned experiences to school and non-school sites to observe model components as well as thought provocation and exploration. She has spent her career working in education, first in the classroom, then in community organizing, advocacy, government, and most recently at the school district level. Prior to joining CICS, Morgan worked at Chicago Public Schools in the Office of Innovation and Incubation where she ran and supported three major authorization processes, the application for amendment, school renewal, and request for proposal to open new schools processes. She holds an M.Ed in Education Policy from the University of Washington, and a B.A. in Teaching and B.A. in Political Science from Seattle University.
