CICS નોર્થટાઉન સમુદાય સાથી CICS શાળાઓને પુરવઠો દાન કરે છે
"અમે શાળા વર્ષની શરૂઆત માટે લગભગ ચાર વર્ષ પહેલાં આ શરૂ કર્યું હતું," CICS નોર્થટાઉન ડીન ઓફ સ્ટુડન્ટ્સ કેવિન રાયન સમજાવે છે. CICS નોર્થટાઉન હાઇ સ્કૂલના વિદ્યાર્થીઓને ડીનની ઑફિસમાં વધારાની શાળા સામગ્રી લાવવા માટે આમંત્રિત કરવામાં આવે છે, અને તેમને શાળા દ્વારા પ્રાયોજિત રેફલમાં ભાગ લેવાની તક મળે છે.
“This year we filled 7 or 8 empty paper boxes with school supplies,” said Mr. Ryan. The supplies are given to CICS to be distributed to any elementary school students in need. Over the years, CICS Wrightwood and CICS Basil have each benefited from the supply drive. CICS Director of Family and Community Engagement Meghan Schmidt, who helps coordinate the receiving schools, shared that “the generosity of the students and the work of the staff who put the supply drive together each year speaks volumes of the incredible spirit of the CICS Northtown community.”
