CICS Longwood High School recently celebrated an exciting milestone with the grand reveal of its brand-new student-led Barber and Beauty Room. This state-of-the-art "clinic floor" was unveiled to students, staff, and community members who came together to witness the launch of what is sure to become a cornerstone of the school's Career and Technical Education (CTE) program. The energy in the room was undeniable as students proudly showcased the professional-grade space they will call their own.
This February, our schools joined communities across the nation in celebrating Black History Month — a time dedicated to honoring the rich heritage and lasting contributions of Black Americans throughout history. Across classrooms and campuses, our students engaged in meaningful activities that brought culture, history, and community to life in a real and personal way.
